Microdermabrasion is the cosmetic procedure also called as skin polishing offered by shubham skin clinic at Pune Sinhagad road to treat acne scars & to improve fine lines, wrinkles & to improve complexion.
Microdermabrasion means a stream of fine micro particles of aluminum oxide blasted on face by kind of vacuum technology machine to help to improve the texture & appearance of skin. Movement of these particles under pressure over skin surface loosens & partially removes uppermost epidermal layer of skin to stimulate the formation of new layer of skin. Once outer layer of skin has been removed the lower surface of skin is stimulated for the production of new cells to renew the surface layer so new skin is generated which is more fresh & healthy. Microdermabrasion also helps to stimulate new collagen inside skin so it is also best choice of treatment in acne scars. It is very simple procedure. First patient is asked to wash face with good medicated cleanser then the probe of microdermabrasion machine is rolled all over the face of patient in lie-down position in a specific manner. During procedure white powder will appear all over face. This powder is nothing but the fine crystals of aluminum oxide which abrades the top dead layer of skin so that the formation of new healthy skin is stimulated.
